The ChemLinked Food Regulatory Conference – Oceania 2018 (CLFRC – Oceania 2018) will take place this November. It is ChemLinked’s first offline event in Australia, where we will bring together industry professionals and local practitioners to discuss China Food Regulations.   • Yilia Ye
    Yilia is a Chemlinked editor and also an experienced food regulation analyst at REACH24H. Her broad experience in the food sector in China and knowledge in food regulations and imports has afforded her a unique insight on key areas including dairy products, infant formula and health foods. She has been involved in various industry conferences and maintains regular communications with experts from various food business giants.
  • Yuan-Zhao YU
    graduated from NCSU with a master's degree in food science and worked in food industry for 7 years. As a food regulatory specialist in REACH24H, my job is dealing with the food related consultations, providing advice and written reports to our customers. This mainly includes compliance analysis for any specific food product intended to export to China, and assistance in preparing complicated registration application documents for those special foods such as infant formula and new food additives.
  • Kathy Lou
    As a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist at Chemlinked, Ms.Lou has been assisting global cosmetics companies in China and providing cosmetic regulatory consulting as well as cosmetic registration services for years. During her time with Chemlinked, Kathy has also greatly expanded her connections with global regulatory experts and associations in the cosmetics industry, and has been invited to share her insights and expertise on cosmetics regulations at many national and international events.
  • Maxwell Heston
    With over 7 years in China and a Master’s in IR from Johns Hopkins using only Mandarin, Maxwell creates a bridge for his overseas clients to smoothly navigate China’s food regulatory body. Maxwell’s keen mind for both China and international business opens up the potential of China’s market for those pursuing a way in.

    YAs an expert on food contact materials (FCM) regulations, Gabbie Wang has long been helping REACH24H, offering customized solutions to enterprises from Europe, U.S., China and Japan. Ms.Wang has collaborated with multiple enterprises in their efforts to complete their applications for new substances as well as to obtain their US Food Contact Notification (FCN).

Ms. Nina Chen, with over 4 years’ experiences in food import regulatory compliance, has rich experiences in general product import, special foods registration such as infant formula registration, food supplement filing etc. Ms. Nina Chen is also the main contact with authority and external experts.

    Tom Parker is a China specialist helping others overcome cultural and business barriers when working or dealing with China. Tom’s long term engagement with China has resulted in an impressive network and the ability to enable successful business outcomes.
    A Mandarin speaker and cross-cultural facilitator, Tom has worked in numerous China-focused program roles, including; The Asialink Centre, Austrade (Beijing), and as writer and reporter for the ABC in both China and Australia for Radio National’s Asia Pacific program. Tom has managed projects and facilitated business and government partnerships in China for the City of Melbourne, NSW and Victorian State Governments.
  • Emma Burchell
    The Director of Operations at Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA)
    Emma Burchell has worked in the complementary medicines industry for over 15 years across clinical, regulatory and industry representative roles.
    She is currently the Director of Operations at Complementary Medicines Australia, having previously been Head of Regulatory Affairs.
    She is a qualified naturopathic practitioner, holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicines) and is completing a Masters of Business Administration focusing on doing business across the Asia-Pacific region. She is an expert committee member for the Standards Australia National Mirror Committee on Traditional Chinese Medicines.

Traveling by Public Transport:
Located in the city centre of Melbourne, the conference venue (Melbourne Marriott Hotel) is easily accessible by public transport.
Nearby airport:
Melbourne Tullamarine Airport (MEL) – 13.6 miles.
Easily accessible using Melbourne Skybus shuttles to either Melbourne CBD Southern Cross Station (a 10-minute drive to the venue) or to Skybus Coach Terminal (and continue journey on Tram routes 30/35/86/96). Tickets are available to purchase online, or via the ticketing booths at either the airport or Southern Cross Station.
Transportation services from the airport also include trains, taxis and private cars.
