This standard specifies the terms and definitions of maize oil, product classification, quality requirements, testing method and rules as well as requirements for labeling, packaging, storage and transportation.
This standard is applicable to the finished product of pressing maize oil, finished product of solvent extraction maize oil and crude maize oil.
On Mar. 23, 2017, Standardization Administration of China and AQSIQ co-announced that this standard for mandatory implementation (GB) will be changed to recommended standards (GB/T) (See ChemLinked News here). But please be aware that the this change has not been updated in ChemLinked E-publications.
