This standard specifies the method for the determination of aflatoxin M₁ in milk and milk products.

This standard discribes three test method for determination of aflatoxin M1.

Method I in this standard applies to the determination of aflatoxin M₁ in milk and milk products; Method II applies to the determination of aflatoxin M₁ in milk, milk powder, low fat milk, skimmed milk, low fat milk powder and skimmed milk powder; Method III applies to the determination of aflatoxin M₁ in milk and milk powder; Method IV applies to the determination of aflatoxin M₁ in liquid milk and milk powder.
