Almost 4 years have passed since the implementation of the Food Labeling Standards in April 2015, and we can see more and more products with labeling following the Food Labeling Standards on the shelves.
The transition period during which the labeling of processed food and additives according to old standards is still being allowed was 5 years, and it is almost less than a year until the end of the transition period (i.e. on March 2020). Therefore, based on “The summary of the Food Labeling Standards (Consumer Affairs Agency(CAA))”, once again I would like to review the points of changes at the occasion of the shift to the New Standard.
