Japan unveiled two drafts of tablets and capsules food products. Indonesia notified WTO six drafts on halal certification regulations. India released rectifiable labeling information for imported food. EU adopted revamped rules to reduce, reuse and recycle packaging. UK proposed MRLs for pencycuron in food. US proposed to further eliminate the use of brominated vegetable oils in food. Canada to update permitted nutrient content statements and claims. Australia and New Zealand changed the conditions for making the voluntary “No Added Sugar” claims.
