Malaysia has approved the registration of natural products with modern claims, effective from April 4, 2024. On April 15, 2024, the NPRA issued the full text of this Guidance.
On January 5, 2024, Thai Food and Drug Administration unveiled the Ministry of Public Health Notification (No. 448) BE 2566 (2023) Re: Food supplement (No.5), which revised the nutrients levels in dietary supplements products. This notification will come into effect on July 2, 2024, with a three-year grace period given to stakeholders.
Thailand’s three latest notifications related to the nutrition labeling of prepackaged food will take effect on July 2, 2024. Stakeholders are given a grace period of three years to align with the new requirements.
