This regulation applies to domestic and imported solid herbal tea in Thailand. The standard includes product definition and classification, physical and chemical indexes such as moisture content, hygienic standards for microorganisms, pesticide residues and pollutants, requirements for the use of food additives (no flavoring substances), special requirements for packaging and labeling, and regulations on strictly prohibiting the addition of drugs and narcotics. The appendix lists the raw material plants that are allowed to be used in the production of solid herbal tea, including the scientific name and the allowed parts.
