GB 28050-xxxx National Food Safety Standard General Rules for Nutrition Labeling of Prepackaged Foods (3rd consultation draft)

GB 28050-2011 applies to the description and explanation of nutrition information in nutrition labels of prepackaged foods, but not applicable to nutrition labeling of health food and prepackaged foods for special dietary use.
It includes scope, terms and definitions, general requirements, mandatory labeling items, optional labeling items and expressing method of nutritional components.

On Sept. 26, 2020, NHC opened the consultation drafts of 10 national standards for public feedback, including the 3rd consultation draft of GB 28050 General Rules for Nutrition Labeling of Prepackaged Food.
