GB 1886.129-2022 is applicable to food additive eugenol prepared by chemical isolation using clove basil oil and bay leaf oil as raw materials and by chemical synthesis using guaiacol and allyl chloride as raw materials. Compared with GB 1886.129-2015 it revised the scope, relative molecular mass, color and description of operating conditions in Appendix B.
