Alcoholic Beverage Control Act

On September 8, 2020, the Royal Gazette published an announcement regarding the prohibition of selling alcoholic beverages through electronic sales methods. The revisions include:

1. Prohibiting the direct sale of alcoholic beverages or any related services through electronic means, including marketing or sales promotion, without face-to-face interaction between sellers and buyers.

2. Excluding the prohibition for purchasing and paying for alcoholic beverages electronically at physical establishments such as stores, restaurants, or venues that provide alcoholic beverage services.
