Summary

This regulation establishes detailed requirements for the declaration and inspection of imported food, etc., in accordance with Articles 13, 20, and 21 of the 「Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control」 and Articles 14 and 27 to 34 of its Enforcement Rules.

This regulation replaces the following regulations

  • "Regulations on Inspection of Imported Foodstuffs"

  • "Regulations on Inspection of Imported Health Functional Foods"

  • "Regulations on Declaration and Inspection of Imported Livestock Products"

  • "Regulations on Inspection of Imported Fishery Products"
