This circular provides for the quarantine of terrestrial animals and terrestrial animal products in Vietnam. It applies to organizations and individuals involved in quarantine activities for terrestrial animals and terrestrial animal products transported out of provincial-level areas; exported, imported, temporarily imported for re-export, temporarily exported for re-import, transferred through border gates, stored in bonded warehouses, or transiting Vietnamese territory. It also covers terrestrial animals participating in fairs, exhibitions, sports competitions, or art performances; terrestrial animal products participating in fairs or exhibitions; and terrestrial animals and terrestrial animal products carried by people. In addition, the circular addresses marking and coding of terrestrial animals, sealing of transport vehicles and containers subject to quarantine, and transportation of disease samples.
