This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product categories, raw and auxiliary materials, technical requirements, production process control, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage, sales and recall requirements of ice cream.
This standard applies to the production, inspection and sales of ice cream in prepackages with fixed type, but does not apply to the soft ice cream products that are made and sold on site.
