“Administrative Measures for Registration of Infant and Young Children Milk Powder Formula Recipes” was finalized in June and a grace period has been granted for formal implementation until Jan. 1, 2018. At the meantime, two supplementary documents, "Items and Requirements of Application Materials for Registration of Infants and Young Children Milk Powder Formula Recipes", and "Key Points and Judging Principles for On-Site Verification and Inspection of Registration of Infants and Young Children Milk Powder Formula Recipes",in support of infant formula recipe registration have been finalized including the requirements for registration dossiers and field inspection and will be officially released in October or November.
Chemlinked would hold a webinar of infant formula in the middle of November after the secondary documents is officially issued which aims to interpret the secondary documents of infant formula recipe registration, and provide regulatory advice for related clients on basis of the information from CFDA.
