Background

A food product that complies with EU labelling rules may still require important changes before it can enter GCC markets. Differences in Arabic labelling, mandatory product information, date marking, halal requirements, claims and local registration can create delays or compliance problems for exporters.

In this webinar, Dr. Mostafa Zahir, the founder of DAFREC (Dutch–Arab Food Regulatory & Export Consultancy), will compare key EU and GCC food labelling requirements, with particular attention to Saudi Arabia and other major GCC markets. This webinar will also provide practical guidance to help food companies review their labels and documents before registration and exporting.
