Background

As per China Chamber of Commerce of I/E of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-products (CFNA), China's animal feed imports totaled USD 8.351 billion from January to December 2023, a 1.13% decrease year-over-year. However, the import volume increased by 6.68% to 13.0937 million tons during the same period. The top 10 exporting countries to China accounted for 74.36% of the total import value. The United States, Ukraine, Canada, Peru, Vietnam, Russia, Indonesia, Thailand, Bulgaria, and India comprised this influential supplier group.

Understanding local regulations and navigating the evolving policies will be crucial for feed producers, importers, and others looking to capitalize on opportunities within the Chinese market. To help stakeholders enter China’s feed market, ChemLinked organized this webinar, which will decode the regulations regarding animal feed, not only limited to pet food.
