Background

ChemLinked has learned that food enterprises exporting to the Japanese market are deeply concerned about the compliance of additive use in their products, as well as the role that additives play in health foods.

Under the Food Sanitation Act, only food additives designated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) can be used. Additionally, substances listed in the existing food additives, natural flavoring agents, and ordinary foods used as food additives can also be used as additives.

In this webinar, ChemLinked will provide interpretations of the requirements for additives’ standards, registration, labeling, etc., helping overseas companies overcome language barriers and gain a better understanding of Japanese food additives.
