This standard specifies the hygienic requirements for phenol lacquer.
This standard applies to the phenol lacquer made either by removing impurities from raw lacquer as raw material via processing or by adding a certain quantity of epoxy resin to varnish and diluting it with alcohols and ketones solvents. This phenol lacquer can be used as anticorrosive lacquer for inner walls of food containers or food utensils to contact liquor, soy sauce, vinegar, beverage and fermented food, etc.
