It applies to products obtained by fermenting feed ingredients listed in the Feed Ingredient Catalog (excluding specific terrestrial animal and aquatic products) using permitted microbial strains or enzymes to degrade macromolecules, eliminate anti-nutritional factors, and improve feed value.
