Standards for Specification, Scope, Application and Limitation of Food Additives

This Regulation amends Article 4 and Appendix 1 of Article 2, Appendix 2 of Article 3 of Standards for Specification, Scope, Application and Limitation of Food Additives. 

(1)Add the Scope and Application Standards of Activated Acid Clay and amend the Food Additive Items of Acid Clay, L-Carnitine, L-Carnitine Tartrate and Steviol glycosides. (Appendix 1 of Article 2) 

(2)Amend the Standards for Specification of Steviol glycosides, Calcium Citrate, α–Glycosyl–isoquercitrin, Acid Clay, L－Valine, L-Carnitine Tartrate, Erythrosine Aluminum Lake, Tartrazine Aluminum Lake, Sunset Yellow FCF Aluminum Lake, Fast Green FCF Aluminum Lake, Brilliant Blue FCF Aluminum Lake, Indigo Carmine Aluminum Lake, Allura Red AC Aluminum Lake, Acetic Acid, Glacial; and add the Standards for Specification of Activated Acid Clay and L-Carnitine. (Appendix 2 of Article 3) 

(3)The Appendix 1 of Article 2, Appendix 2 of Article 3 of this Standards shall take effect on 1st January, 2024.
