About Forum
China is the largest population in the world. At present, China's per capita annual meat consumption is only 63.6 kg, including 41.5 kg of pork, 5.03 kg of beef, 3.12 kg of mutton and 12.8 kg of poultry. The gap with international standards has increased the demand for imported meat. In the next five years, the development potential of the Chinese meat market is very large.

By 2020, the total annual output of meat in China is expected to reach 90 million to 92 million tons. There will be a gap between supply and demand of 8 million to 10 million tons, which should be compensated by imports. This also means there is great potential for cooperation with China's meat industry.
