MFDS published the guideline on hair health promotion efficacy, aiming to guide enterprises in developing new functions for health supplements.

The function claim, human application testing, and evaluation index for hair health efficacy are clarified.  

On January 31, 2023, the authority modified the medicine-like items in the guideline. The medicine-like biomark indexes are deleted from the biomark table. And the hair width is removed from the recognizition standard as it has been included in the elastic functions experiment.
