BPOM Regulation No. 22 of 2023 on Prohibited Raw Materials in Processed Food and Prohibited Materials as Food Additives

This regulation applies to all food, and provides three lists of substances prohibited for use or addition in food processing. They are:

1. List of natural substances that are prohibited for addition or use;

2. List of chemically synthesized substances that are prohibited for addition or use;

3. List of materials that are prohibited to be used as food additives;
