CFDA Announces the Implementation of New Stamps for Special Food Registration

On 1st of August, CFDA announced the substitution of CFDA health products registration stamp with three new kinds of stamps.

In compliance with “health food registration and filing rules” (CFDA no.22 notification), “food for special medical purpose registration rules” (CFDA no.24 notification) and “infant formula registration rules” (CFDA no. 26), starting on the 1st of August the previously used “CFDA health products registration stamp” will be abolished and substituted by the following:
-“special food registration stamp CFDA(1)” for the registration of Health Food;
-“special food registration stamp CFDA(2)” for the registration of food for special medical purposes and infant formula;
-“CFDA Special food registration inspection and sampling stamp”, for the sampling of special foods
resembling respectively the first, the second and the third from the left shown in the picture.
