On Dec 30th, 2019, MFDS unveiled its food policy development plan in 2020. Policies related to health functional food took up one-third of the plan. Here are the details.

September | Strengthen the labeling requirement of caffeine on coffee sold in the café. | Enterprises that have over 100 cafes in South Korea must implement mandatory caffeine content labeling. The term "high caffeine" must be used on the label. |
