As revealed by the notice [1] released on Nov. 11, 2020, six new ingredients were approved by China’s National Health Commission (NHC), that includes 4 new food additives and 2 new FCM additives. They are:
Monascus red,
Citric acid,
Sucralose,
Sodium polyphosphate,
Polyethylene,
2-Propenoic acid, polymer with 1,3-butadiene and ethenylbenzene.
