South Korea Proposes On-Site Inspection Exemption for Excellent Importers Registration

On November 10, 2025, South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) released draft amendments to the Standards for Registration and Management of Excellent Importers. The proposal seeks to streamline the process of excellent importer registration, so as to encourage greater participation in the voluntary Excellent Importers Program. Stakeholders may submit comments by November 30, 2025.
