On 24 Jun 2015, TFDA released an amendment to Standards for Specification, Scope, Application and Limitation of Food Additives. Specifications for some calcium compounds, which are laid down in Appendix 2 of the Standards, have been revised. Three additives used as nutritional fortification substances have had specific alterations made to their usage as outlined below:
