On May 13, 2026, Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology released a draft national standard (TCVN) titled "Guidelines on Claims for Foods" to solicit public comments.1 This draft aims to establish fundamental principles to prevent misleading, false, or deceptive descriptions or presentations of food products, ensuring that consumers are not misled about the true nature of the food.
