China Bans Australian Beef

On May 11, China GAC updated The List of Imported Meat Products from Approved Countries or Regions. In this update, GAC announced the implementation of an immediate ban on the importation of beef from four of Australia’s major exporters, which began on May 12.

Japan Updates the Requirements of Dairy Products’ Sanitary Certificates

Japan MHLW announced that imported dairy and dairy products must be attached with sanitary certificates issued by the exported countries/regions based on the amendment to “Food Hygiene Law." This requirement will come into effect on June 1 this year
