This standard discribes two test methods for determination of fat.
Method I in this standard is applicable to the determination of fat in pasteurized milk, sterilized milk, raw milk, fermented milk, modified milk, milk powder, condensed milk, butter, cream, cheese and formula foods for infant and young children; Method II in this standard is applicable to the determination of fat in pasteurized milk, sterilized milk and raw milk.
