China Lifts Ban on Irish Beef

According to China’s related laws and regulations, and in reference with Terrestrial Animal Health Code, China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) announced on 11 Feb 2015 that the ban on the importation of Irish deboned beef, derived from animals aged less than 30 months was lifted as of the date of announcement. AQSIQ inspection and quarantine procedures for Irish beef exported to China will be separately formulated.
