India to Revise Maximum Residue Amount for Hydrogen Cyanide

21st of July 2017, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) did the second revision of the standard for pollutants, poisonous substances and residue limits. This revision sets the maximum residue limit for Hydrogen Cyanide in sago, cassava flour and other products as 10 ppm. The amended regulations will come into force upon consultation with stakeholders and will be released in the official gazette.
