Indonesia BPOM to Amend Health Supplement Registration Regulation

Indonesia released a draft to overhaul health supplement registration, expanding definitions and clarifying eligible MA holders. Technical requirements are streamlined; labeling and import registration rules are updated.

On October 30, 2025, Indonesia's Directorate of Standardization of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics (Standar-OTSKK) released a draft regulation that proposes a comprehensive revision of the criteria and administration for health supplement registration. The draft, open for public consultation until November 10, 2025, is set to replace the current governing regulation, BPOM Regulation No. 32 of 2022.
