On March 24, 2026, Taiwan's Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) issued Notice No. 1151300417, announcing amendments to The Import Regulation of F01 and F02 in Import Commodity Classification of Republic of China. The updated regulation, which will take effect on April 1, 2026, reclassifies several commodity codes and adds new ones to the inspection list.

China's overseas food manufacturer registration, commonly referred to as GACC/CIFER registration, has been in force since 2022 and applies to all foreign food manufacturers exporting to China.
