Bangladesh BSTI Drafts Revised Standard for Artificial Flavoured Drinks

On June 17, 2026, the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) released a draft revision of the BDS 1877 Artificial Flavoured Drinks standard for public consultation.1 This revised draft updates the quality, safety, and labeling requirements for artificial flavored drinks to safeguard consumer health and promote fair trade practices. It serves as a proposed revision for the current BDS 1877:2014 Artificial Flavoured Drinks2. The deadline for submitting feedback on the draft is August 10, 2026.
