CFDA lifts Suspension of Camperdown Powder Pty

On Wednesday August 9^th, 2017, CFDA lifted the suspension of Camperdown Powder Pty’s Australian manufacturing facility.

We remind our readers that earlier this year organic food and formula company Bellamy bought a 90% stake in Camperdown Powder Pty Ltd presumably to OEM manufacture organic infant formula to export to China. On 7^th of July their registration procedure was suspended.

The lifting of the suspension has seen Bellamy’s share rebound reaching $ 8.84 on Wednesday, prompting company CEO Andrew Cohen to release the following statement. “We are pleased that Camperdown’s suspended registration has today been lifted. Bellamy’s appreciates the important role the CNCA has in protecting Chinese consumers and the support of the Australia trade officials in assisting us throughout this process.”
