China Carries Out Emergency Prevention Measures on Imported Frozen Food Manufactures

China GAC will suspend import declaration of overseas manufacturers for a period of time if the imported frozen foods or their packages are found to be Covid-19 positive.

To prevent the risk of Covid-19 input through imported frozen foods, on Sep. 11, 2020, China GAC released Notification No.103 specifying emergency prevention measures on overseas manufacturers from which the imported frozen foods were tested positive for Covid-19. The notification came into effect immediately on the date of its publication. [1]
