On Apr. 10, 2018, food additive Paprika Red and Paprika Oleoresin were opened for public feedback by CFSA. Paprika Red has already served as colorant in 25 kinds of food, and now it is proposed to be used in new bean products and spice oil. The application scopes of Paprika Oleoresin will also be increased to include 4 new food categories (please check their current usages in our Flist). The following tables illustrate their proposed application scopes and dosage.
