On 27 Jan 2015, AQSIQ published the revised Requirements of Plant Inspection and Quarantine of Fresh Grapes Imported from Australia. Revised terms are as below:
Approval of Orchards and Cold Storage
Before exporting to China, orchards, packing plants and refrigerating treatment facilities shall register with Australia’s Department of Agriculture and obtain approvals from both countries. List of registrant shall be attainable on AQSIQ website.

Requirements before Shipment
1. Packing shall be conducted in DA approved packing plants, and it shall be guaranteed that filtering, grading and storing of grapes can be processed in cold storage facilities.
2. Registrants are required to participate in trainings on quarantine pests, as well as organizing in-house trainings for grape grading and packing.
3. While grading and filtering are taking place, the packing plant shall be kept clean, and no other fruits shall be mixed in during the whole process.
