The past one month has witnessed the implementation of a series of measures for crossborder ecommerce in China which included an increase in taxation beginning from 8 Apr 2016 and also the issuance of the positive list. In addition, products like infant formula, health foods (including nutrient supplements) and medical foods are required to be registered with China CFDA prior to import through CBEC channels.

For products which have already been imported or are currently being shipped the China (before 8 Apr) General Administration of Customs has instituted transitional measures to allow their sale or import until sold out. Goods not within the positive list are no longer allowed to be exported to China through CBEC after 8 Apr.
