On 26th of March, China CNCA released the official unified logos for green products. While an official label for green foods was already established long ago, until now green products in general were not unified under a comprehensive system. There are two versions for this logo, the basic one is applicable to products listed in the green product certification catalogue which have obtained this certification, which appears as follow:

The altered version is applicable to products certified with some “green” (means environmental) characteristics (example: energy saving, low carbon, water saving, environment protection etc.) It will appear as follows:

In 2017, the State Council opened the“Administrative Measures of Green Product Certification”for public feedback, aiming to unify green product certification in China. The specific use requirements of the green product certification mark will be combined with the developing needs for a green product certification system and will be clearly defined in the upcoming implementation plan or certification rules.
China’s efforts to unify green product certifications resulted in the establishment of new standards for green food that were implemented on the 1st of April of this year. In addition, in March 2017 China Green Food Development Center issued the “Standard Catalogue for Green Food (2017)”, listing referenced standards and corresponding green foods.
