On May 7, 2026, Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued a call for public comment on Proposal P1067. This proposal considers amending the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code to mandate the Health Star Rating (HSR) symbol on certain prepackaged food sold in both markets.
