On September 30, 2025, Malaysia's Ministry of Health gazetted the Food (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2025, which introduces significant changes to the standards for alcoholic beverages under the Food Regulations 1985. The new regulations will come into operation on April 1, 2026.
