Thailand Amend RDI of Sodium

On May 16, 2018, Thailand Food and Drug Administration issued notification G/TBT/N/THA/513 to revise regulations on the labeling of recommended daily intakes of sodium. Major modifications are as follows:

  • Repeal article 28 of Thailand Ministry of Public Health Decree No.182 which is about suggested nutrition list for Thais over 6, and relevant content in appendix 3

  • Repeal the nutrition labeling method of BE 2541 (1998) and replace it with
