Thailand Proposes New Food Labeling Rules, Expanding Allergen List and Introducing Digital Label Option

The proposed amendments to Thailand food labeling regulation include an expanded list of mandatory allergens, revised rules for declaring food additives, the introduction of a voluntary digital labeling system, and stricter requirements for foods previously exempt from labeling.

On December 24, 2025, the Thailand Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) released a draft notification proposing significant amendments to the country's food labeling regulations.
