UK Consults on the Authorization of One Novel Food and One Food Additive

In October 2022, Food Standards Agency (FSA) of UK has consulted on the authorization of four substances as listed below. However, errors were found in the original consultation later. Hence, on Jan 24, 2023, FSA updated the consultation and started to seek stakeholders’ comments on the involved two substances, namely, “RP1158 Vitamin D2 mushroom powder” and “RP1194 Rebaudioside M”. Comments should be sent to RPconsultations@food.gov.uk prior to February 6, 2023 with the subject ”Regulated products consultation” and relevant RP number.
