Approved GAC Manufacturer Registration Updates in Jan and Feb: Infant Formula and Dairy Products

Seven overseas infant formula enterprises were granted GAC registration approval in February, five of which are from the U.S. The others were from Germany and Italy. Seventeen countries, including New Zealand, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and the U.S., had dairy manufacturer registrations approved by GAC. The U.S. had the largest number of both dairy and infant formula manufacturer registrations approved by GAC this time. In addition to the five infant formula manufacturers approved, 40 dairy manufacturers were approved.

As revealed by the GAC updates, China renewed the list of enterprises that have been granted overseas infant formula and dairy manufacturer registration approval ^[1] in January and February.

Seven overseas manufactures received GAC manufacturer registration approval in February, five of which are from the U.S. It is predicted the U.S. will get more approved in the future due to the phase one trade agreement ^[2].

Dairy Product

Seventeen countries had manufacturer registrations approved by GAC, including Belarus, Croatia, Denmark, France, Italy, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, the U.S., and Vietnam. It is the first time dairy manufacturers from Kazakhstan, Croatia, and Slovakia have been approved. Slovakia had 11 manufacturers approved, Italy 14, while the U.S. had over 40 approved. However, due to the deletion of some enterprises, the total number of approved U.S. manufacturers is 291, which is actually six less than before.
