On 6th September, China Food and Drug Administration published the 2017 revisions of “Requirements for Application Materials for Registration of Foods for Special Medical Purpose (Trial)” and “Stability Study Requirements for Foods for Special Medical Purpose (Trial)”, amending the July 2016 versions of these provisions. CFDA’s aim is to improve the registration efficiency of Food for Special Medical Purposes and to incorporate feedback gathered during the draft public consultation period. These documents became effective on the day of their release.
