On the 31st of October, CFDA published the third quarter of 2017 sample inspection results for 624423 batches of food products (including health food and food additives).
The inspections resulted in 609480 batches of compliant samples, accounting for 97.6% of the total, and 14943 noncompliant ones. The overall compliance rate appeared to be 0.2% lower than H2 this year, which is equal or lower than the compliance rate in bulk daily consumer goods such as cereals, oils, meat products, eggs and poultry, etc.. Dairy products and infant formula foods rates are over 99%.
